Power Events Golden Tee Tour – Official Rules and Format

Welcome to the Power Events Golden Tee Tour

The Power Events Golden Tee (PEGT) Tour is a six-event national competition series culminating in the crowning of the Golden Tee Top Gun Champion and winner of the Stenmark Cup. Players earn Tour Points at qualifying events. At the conclusion of the season, the top-ranked competitors advance to year-end championship finals that reward consistency, skill, and sportsmanship across the live-play community.

Season Overview

  • Six qualifying PEGT tournaments are held throughout the season.
  • Players earn Tour Points at each event based on placement.
  • The Top 32 players (by points and in attendance) advance to the Top Gun Finals.
  • Players ranked 33–64 (in attendance) qualify for the Lil Gun Finals. A minimum of 25% of the total year-end prize pool is allocated to Lil Gun.
  • Both finals occur during the End-of-Year Holiday Classic Weekend, immediately following the Holiday Classic main event. The Holiday Classic results count toward PEGT Tour points.

Eligibility Reminder: Players must participate in at least two PEGT events during the year to be eligible for Top Gun or Lil Gun Finals.

Point System & Qualification

A player’s Tour Points are calculated from their best four finishes across the six qualifying events. If a player competes in more than four events, their two lowest finishes are dropped from the point total. Official standings and results are maintained on the PEGT Tour website.

Tiebreakers

  1. Average score across PEGT events.
  2. Head-to-head results between tied players.
  3. Number of PEGT events played (more events played wins).

If a qualified, ranked player does not attend the year-end event, the bracket is condensed upward (no byes). For example, if #9 is absent, #10 moves to #9, and #33 becomes eligible for the Top Gun field.

Prize Pool Funding

  • $15 of each player’s entry fee is allocated to the year-end prize pool.
  • $15 per entry is matched by Power Events and Incredible Technologies.

Example: Six events × 100 players per event = 600 total entries → $9,000 from player entry allocation + $9,000 sponsor match = $18,000 total prize pool.

The Top Gun and Lil Gun Finals are Free Roll events—no additional entry fees are required.

Player Incentives & Participation

  • New players brought to a PEGT event receive a $20 Golden Tee Gift Card.
  • Each additional player entered in the six events adds $30 to the overall prize pool.

These incentives encourage local growth and improve the competitive experience for all players.
